I had the luxury to travel to Vancouver by myself during the summer 2017. I decided to do a plein air at the street side of downtown Vancouver. This is right outside of the Burrard Station. Knowing the painting has to be bigger and more sophisticated, I took the sketch home and did a finished version of it. The background is the famous Fairmont Hotel Vancouver that serves as a landmark there.
